Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game published by RedLynx Games. The game was released on August 16, 2017 for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch. In the game, the player becomes a DJ who must master the art of creating funk and hip-hop music. To do so, players face different challenges in different environments. Once players have mastered these challenges, they can put them into arcade mode with various difficulties to test how good a DJ you are. There are eight arcade modes, each of which tests a particular DJ skill like memory, rhythm matching, or playing an instrument. The game also features an unlock feature that allows players to unlock new outfits for their DJ character and new instruments and additional songs.
