Do you have what it takes to become a Funkologist? Come party with us on Friday, November 2 and find out! Join us for an evening of fun, drinks and competitive rhythm game play. This isn't your typical video game tournament - it's a fun experience that combines the intensity of competitive gaming with the high energy of a nightclub party. Each attendee will receive brief instruction before competing against other competitors, and then it is up to you to show off your skills. The event will feature three different games: Rhythm Recognition Test - See how well you know your favorite funk jams! Dance Battle - Show us what you get! Music Memory Test - Do you remember that song? We bet no. Each match will be 8 minutes long - once everyone is done playing, we'll tally the scores and see who wins each round. There will also be a speed round at the end so even if you don't win another round - there's still a chance to win some sweet prizes. Before each match starts, there will be 10 seconds where all players must get their controller or laptop ready - this is called “Funk Prep”. During this time, we ask that you mute your phone and ensure that any alerts or notifications are turned off. Have a happy time !
